what a great site - the best resource ive found on the net reguarding my bike. ive been using this board for months now to figure out little odds an ends on my 95 xt, and it has been nothing but great help - to all here I say thank you!

i got my xt225 from a friend who was selling all his bikes for a move - i used to ride back when i was like 13, then my friends with dirtbikes all left so i was left bikeless cause my parents thought i'd put an eye out or something
until now... saved up all my lunch money an got me an xt (based largely on ya'lls advice) and i couldnt be more satisfied. ive put almost 1000 miles on it in just a few months, and with minimal maintenence its still kickin ass!
but now its about time for some serious maintenence so i figured i'd join in the phenomenon that is the xt225 rider's group - first of all to thank you for the excellent info, and also to bother you with about a billion noob questions!
