We have a great running 92 XT225 for sale with about 3,100 miles. Its been updated with 2003 colors and graphics. The perfect commuter, city bike, weekend-warrior dual-sport/trail bike, and as the custom license plate says, the bike you want for the Apocalypse. My wife has decided shes a dirt-only kind of gal, so sadly, my guilty-pleasure commuter must go (its OK, I have my own larger displacement street-legal Supermoto, but I preferred to commute on this bike much more). Ive been getting 60-65mpg as of late, and can easily cruise at highway speeds. There have been many upgrades and improvements made to this bike, and it needs nothing but a rider:

l don`t mean to get you too excited here,l have a totally MINT XT225 front hub for sale.You simply send the hub to Buchanans and have them spoke up an 18"x2.15 rim to match your rear wheel,mount up some Kenda`s and Viola! budget supermoto conversion.l`ll sell the hub for $40 shipped,no rotor or axle but all seals and bearings.Here`s Buchanans site

l`ve done some research though and decided (IMHO)that it would be better to buy a stronger XT250/350 rear wheel and install THAT on your bike and use the bikes original rear rim for the front conversion.So you`d be upgrading both the front AND rear wheels for pretty cheap money. Expect to pay $75 shipped for a used higher spec XT rear wheel for the back of your XT225.lnstall the new XT rear wheel assy and de-spoke the original 225 wheel, sending the rim and my bare front hub to Buchanans for build/true service.So you`ll have spent about $250 total to upgrade the rear wheel to a stronger unit with a better brake and to get an 18" supermoto style front wheel. You`ll still have a 21" stock front wheel and a stock XT225 rear hub and spokes.OR you could buy a 18"x2.15 rear rim from Yamaha for $80 and send that to Buchanans with my front hub,leaving your rear end alone. Anyway the MINT front hub is $40-shipped but if you want the whole front wheel with tire(rim is okay but lots of broken spokes)l`ll sell that for $60 shipped.Replace about a third of the spokes and true it up and you`ll have a good front wheel.Wheel/Tire has 1700 miles on it all.

selling my xt for a newer one. asking $2300 but will negotiate. Located in Dallas, TX. usual minor scratches. Jets and pipe mod, avon street tires, 3400mi. runs great and you all know they get about 75mpg. call me @ 214-335-2520 if interested. Will deliver anywhere for gas money only. The rack is OEM, from Japan. It's not available in the U.S.
It replaces the passenger grab handles, using the existing bolts.
Installs in about 15 minutes.
Instructions are included, but they are in Japanese..
The color is gunmetal.
I've had the rack installed on my bike for about a week, but I found something I liked better. It is in excellent shape.

l just installed and documanted the correct way to install a hi-watt bulb with a properly wired relay. l`m selling the kit,all parts included and extrmely simple to install.Fully reversable.l used a singe relay so only the high watt high beam is directly wired.Works AWESOME. $40 shipped with all parts and instructions.Ground and power come straight from the battery and are fed up through the crinkle tube at the lower fork yoke. Fully stealthy and turns night into day. l took an HID off my Porsche since one burnewd out l`m going baCK TO HALOGEN. Full lighting kit-$40 c shipped
