I wouldn't give it the beans for a while after it's been stood so long, needs a bit of tlc, take it easy for some miles.

Re stumble:
Did ya fit an in-line fuel filter?
Clean & re-oil the air filter? Ensure the box is sealed & no air leaks.
Spark plug grade & gap correct?
