Okay. The battery that was sold to me doesn't fit. The positive lead is too short to reach the top of the battery. I will be loading up the bike and the battery and taking them to the dealer in the morning so they can see for themselves.
Does anyone have a direct replacement for the XT225 battery as in mfg'er and part #?
It would be much appreciated.

Vinduroman I’m not sure how a replacement battery could be too tall for the battery cable to reach the terminal. If the battery fits into the battery compartment, the cable should reach the battery terminal.
