Like the heading says, I recently purchased a new '07 XT225, it was taking up space in the dealer's showroom and he was keen to unload it. unfortunately it's the middle of winter right now so I won't be using it for a few months.

Looking forward to bombing around on the bike, should be fun.

Welcome to the site Chuck. You'll love the XT when you get to ride it. What's the weather like with you today? 6 foot of snow?
Here in Blighty it's a balmy 54f courtesy of the gulf stream and global warming. Have fun.

Chuck,
Congrats on your new XT. You might be able to sneak in a ride.
Doc,
It's a chilly 66f here in Southwest Florida but should warm up to 80f later.

The 2007 will be the last of an era... six speed dual sport that weighs 238 lbs. Good luck with it. I love mine.

It's been dry here but the roads are a bit greasy. I'm hoping it picks up for the weekend. A bit of rain to wash away the salt would be nice.

Ah.the pleasures of Lancashire. We have to pay to have swimming pools put in down here! If it's dry on Saturday I think I'll go up the Peak District. They say Sunday will be nice so I may go to Wales on the Tiger. I need a run.

Thanks for the welcome, I don't know about sneeking in a ride, there's probably 30" of snow on the ground, the streets are ice or snow packed, and it's about -21 C (about -6 F) at the moment

not good bike riding weather I don't think

Brrr... I guess you don't go camping much this time of year either! Northern Ontario is on the same latitude as me 54 deg North. How cold does it get up north if it's -6f with you?
