You've seen it already? I thought this was the first release.

I watch some of the "Outlaw" Sites. D/Led it there about 1 month ago. Perfect copy; not camcorder junk.

I give Brad Pitt a lot of credit for getting involved in the production.

With no TV service that's about the only access I have to watch a movie Alex, that and Netflix online. No need to apologize for picking stuff up there. If we're watching, not selling what we watch, should be no harm, no foul.. Enjoyed Hitting The Apex a lot.

A movie Brad Pitt starred in that's currently on Netflix, The Gunman, is a heck of a ride as well. Not a documentary like Hitting The Apex, but it goes flat out from start to finish..

Yeah, that's been available (The Gunman) for a couple of months; I haven't looked at it though.

Our UK friends with the BBC get to see Bron/Broen (the Bridge, Swedish and Danish) with English sub-titles. I D/L it with the sub-titles on Tuesdays; it plays on Sunday. Very good series, now on the 3rd Season. I could get it Sunday, but don't understand the language.

A lot of series are directly broadcast, but have advertisements. The things posted have no ads and are uncensored, which is nice.

I'm think now of series like South Park, Lost Girl, DaVinci Demons, Star Wars Rebels, etc.

Hi Alexd,

The Bridge series is just about the best production I've seen on the telly for years.

At the moment I'm also enjoying 'River' on the BBC. A series about a Scandic born police detective, based in London, well worth a go.

Regards

Reggie

I hadn't heard of "River yet;" I'll look it up. Is that the first Season for it?

Incidentally "The Bridge" was run in the US as a "knock-off" with the bridge being between Mexico and the US. I haven't taken a look...the original is good enough for me.

You'll enjoy it when you do watch it..

"The Bridge" has been recommended as a must see series, but so far I haven't d/l'd it. With you and Reggie high on it though, that'll soon change!

Can't believe how much I save each month having opted out of paying for commercial TV. Yet I miss nothing I really want to see, from news to EPL soccer to you name it, and favorite downloaded TV series come uncensored and commercial free as you point out Alex.

I'd never go back to paying to have advertisers stomp in and yell at me at odd times through a program I'm trying to watch to buy whatever product they're pushing! Recording shows and watching them later while fast forwarding through commercials is a stop gap measure at best. Opting totally out of pay TV and finding what you really want to watch online commercial free is by far the better way to go..
