Perhaps some of you folks (old timers?  ) remember Matt, aka sandalscout. He had an XT for a while and I've seen his posts here from a few years ago. I met him via ADV and he's a super nice guy. He had a nasty crash on his way home from an ADV group ride a couple days ago. Details aren't real clear, but it appears he swerved to avoid an SUV while riding down a gravel/dirt road by himself and hit his back on something hard. Spinal injuries are never good, but indications thus far are encouraging. Regardless, he's got a long, hard road ahead. A GoFundMe account has been set up to help with bills.
