Last month I got a well used and abused TTR for my first real 'dirty' bike. I've got a few other street bikes but none suitable for knobbies.

I've cleaned it up a lot and had to buy an official yammy fender because no one makes aftermarket plastics for these mules. I'm happy with the bike so far, but a set of manuals would really help me out with it. I'm delving into the fork seals tonight, which isn't completely uncharted territory for me. I've revolutionary a few sets of inverted Showa forks, just never a set of conventional forks.

I could try to keep getting by with out any papers for the bike, but it'd be re-assuring to have a manual for the bike I'm maintaining. Would anyone be so kind as to forward me a link or send me the manuals in a PDF attachment?

THANKS!

Welcome to the site as a new USER. Not sure we've got a whole lot on the TTR 225 as this is an XT only site. Manuals are copyrighted material so links can't be posted or sent here. Perhaps someone can get in touch with you privately off the board and share this information.

Muniac,
there seem to be alot of similarites between the XT225 and TTR 225. i have yet to come across a forum better than this one for the bike.
if you have one in mind i'd live to know of it, but this forum reads to be a useful and very helpful one rife with knowledge and sincerity.

i found some manuals but it's a huge PDF and not even a searchable version. ... almost 500 pages. i'd have to go buy a ream of paper just to print it!

does that sound about right?

and i'd hapilly aceept any PM's about this wink

Someone else can correct me if I am wrong, but I believe that the TT-R225 has the same engine as the xt225. If so, any engine work should allow you to use the xt manual. There seems to be a number of sites where you can download a PDF of the xt225 manual.
