Generally, you'll have a really hard time getting your money back on this kind of work. You'll have to find a buyer who appreciates the effort and has similar taste. I'd say your average XT tire kicker wouldn't go much past $2000. You could remove stuff like the lights and horn and try to recoup some cost that way, but all your time is sunk.

That said, I'd go out and enjoy it and think a little longer about selling it.
