Well I've given up searching for an OEM pair. New with the brackets They'll run about $150 and used hasn't become available. So I went ahead and did the best job I could in making them. I used some grade 8 nylon nuts, washers and bolts, then tested out the comfort level, then a test ride. Cost is just under $7. Seems to work just fine, I've gotten suggestions to dip them in a rubber coating or spray them with line-x, let me know what you think of them

Be careful these don't catch on anything. Street riding shouldn't be a problem but off road is another story. Line-X is probably your most durable coating. Gates rubber hose might be another option if you can find a nice fitting ID. That would be replaceable too. Good luck and be safe.

I am using a set of these as highway pegs on my VStrom. The price is hard to beat. http://www.ebay.com/itm/CNC-Universal-Motorcycle-Rearset-Footrests-Footpeg-Foot-Pegs-Pedals-Folding-Race-/391836985469?var=&hash=item5b3b4de87d:m:mB84ep0D-TNwoKPKiui15Gg&vxp=mtr

Spaling errors and typos have been included on porpoise for those who enjoy finding them.

Mine came with the pillion pegs missing. I was thinking of the universal folding pegs below mounted on a triangular alloy plate to give the same position as the originals. maybe 4 or 5mm thick alloy, 4mm might not be sturdy enough? What ya rec'n?

Good advice here! Snagging hasn't been an issue so far on the trails, but I imagine it'd be a bad tumble if it happened, so I supposed I'll keep my eyes out for a different option in the mean time. Those aftermarket pegs probably would've been a better option because they swivel!
I have had one issue with these. Waddling through some rough terrain was annoying because the angle I was at had my pegs bumping into the backside of my knee. If this proves to be a common occurrence, I'll pick up some aftermarket.
I'm keeping my eyes out for some one still!

This shall pass, be still and know. 2006 XT225, UNI filter, ProTaper bars, MSR handguards, SS front brake line, Shinko 241's.

Aye m8, one of them through the calf could smart a tad.
