Swamped my bike the other day. Water got in my oil. Found the cause, no rubber ring around my oil plug. Before I order an oem o-ring (item 23 on the schematic), will any rubber gasket that fits work? Seems simple and obvious that they would, just not sure if there is a concern with heat melting the oring and having that end up in my crankcase. crank case schematic

Weird, I was going to get an o-ring after work for exactly the same place (I never recall having one, but it seems to leak from there in the past few weeks since I replaced the crankcase gasket) I am just going to buy one from the hardware store, it is not in internal, critical/high heat application.
