Wow - congratulations, Reggie!
And here I thought my 5,000 miles was doing well for one year... you have been on the bike 5 TIMES that! Just like money - more is better!
Hi Mike, I just can't stop riding her, it's like an affliction! Regards

Replaced the rear brake shoes at 24,000+ miles. Turns out they were still descent, but the shaft through the backing plate had tightened up severely. Had to beat out the shaft, sand it and the backing plate bushing. Coated everything moving with anti seize, and put it back together with the new shoes. Now the brakes work better than new. They must have missed the greasing at the factory.

Yesterday I put on the Ricochet skid plate that I ordered. I got the anodized black one. I think it ties in with the bike a lot better. I also put on the Coleman ATV seat cover. I rode with it for the first time today so I am still weighing its benefits.

Changed out my front tube with the new Kenda tuff tube, wow what a difference, the kenda looks to be at least twice as thick, i was able to roll up the stock front tube and put in the spare tool bag spot, so now i can have it there as a spare.
The kenda tuff tubes are good stuff!! the kenda does weigh like 2 1/2 times as much tho.

not to much for today. k&n oil filter intoday. got the coleman/stearn set cover from walmart. thinking about putting a memory foam pillow between the cover and seat. took off alot of the minor plastics today. i.e. chain guard, chain flap, and tail light assemblay and gave them all a fresh coat of paint to tidy them up a bit. also picked up some sea faom, and pb blaster(which hopefully and so far i havent needed. but i stillhave the z1 mod to finish but havin trouble gettin to sears for a bolt out.
