The clutch kit will be here early this coming week, so I'll be pulling it apart, and taking photos. A new rear brake light switch has arrived, so that will go on too. Then this thing will be finished! Then the only problem is finding a job to ride it to!

Mornin' Matey,
let's hope the the job Word is lind to you.
Last year I got a 6 month contract, then the dat before it was due to expire, I was told they could extend it by 2 weeks. Then on the night before that was due t expire, I got a phone call at home saying it'd been extended by further 3 weeks. That was due to expire last Friday however, on Thursday afternoon, they offered me a permanent contract. I can breathe again!
So let's hope that something comes along for you before too long.
Regards
Reggie

Morning Reggie, well, that's good news! Whenever I've been taken on with a temporary contract, I've always been taken on permanently. I can (a) speak and write English (b) follow instructions and (c) am actually willing to work. I think I might want to go self employed though, and maybe a business loan (if I can get one these days) would help. I've recently learned to weld, and do basic furniture carpentry. I'm thinking of turning my skills into a business. I'll be off into town later to try and procure a mig welder. I also learned arc welding, made a cube of 4mm steel squares. We'll soon have me busy again!

if you get a business loan and get a few more bits of equipment, maybe a proper workstand instead of concrete block, hehe! with the mechanical dexterity you possess my man, work should be no problem to come by. A lot better than workin for some company or other that don't give a [censored]. plus you can choose your hours. is the work situation in the uk still a bit grim? i work as a brickie and it was pretty crap 2008/09. anyways man, good luck.

Cheers for the good wishes!
First thing I'll make is a welder stand. Then a carpentry bench. Then I'll make a doomsday weapon, and ransom the world for a lot of money.
Griff, the situation here is dire. We have a job shortage, more people flooding in, more kids sat round in college and uni learning useless toss, or starting families that the rest have to pay for, or sat round doing bugger all and making us pay for their lazy lives. I'd be a bit dictatorial I reckon, but I'd do the PM's job for half his wage and get 100% more done.
Right, done Griff's exhaust pics, now to install signs to stop the stupid buggers parking in front of my driveway!

You need to get your priorities sorted - first thing I started making when I got my new welder was an XT225 workshop stand, similar to CigarMikes design Saying that it's not finished as I've just made the frame cups for the top so they still need sticking on
