Well after riding for a month and no cleaning up on my new bike table it got a thorough cleaning and wax. I wish i had bought one of these tables years ago so much easier than crawling around on the ground. Anyway the Sherpa looks great now seems to run better also.....

Yesterday I added a fuel filter, today I added a switch to turn the lights off. I took off the rear indicators, back light etc to plan replacing it all with small crash friendly aftermarket bits.

I didn't do anything today, as it is about 99* w/ 85% humidity outside. Yesterday, though in the same conditions, I got my new KN oil filters in the mail and then changed the oil, and greased all the swingarm connections. All thanks to the learning center videos. BTW, I bought some Mobil-1 10W40 MX4T oil and it was $9.99/qt. Wow, talk about expensive, but yet I was still a sucker and bought 3 quarts.
Not sure what I'll do next other than ride it. Many things I've thought about doing, such as the Clarke tank, highway pegs, different tires, and maybe a paint job, but none of which are really necessary for me in position. I just wish, as I'm sure most people do, that there were more trails near by. Is there anything better than a great trail ride? Not on a motorcycle, that I've experienced.
Later. Ryan

I washed all the bikes and cleaned, lubed their chains, and took one out for a short "maintenance run" up Trout Gulch Rd. About 2 1/2 hours of time invested, total, yesterday. It provided a nice break from setting up my school year pacing calendars for the two courses I teach. (The challenge: How to cover more material in seven fewer school days, without cutting out the student-motivating, fun lab activities. We have some "furlough days" this year).

I started adding a 12v outlet next to my instrument panel for my GPS. I will finish up the wiring over the next couple of days.

Hi Medic-0372,
well done that man. She'll be broken in pretty soon!
