Yet another beautiful start to they day.

Anyone seen the film Highlander? Well here's the backdrop.

And here's one of my favourite shots of Team C1.

And I was stopped by a couple from Holland, who wanted to take my photo! So I shot their old MG Midget, whist they shot me & my C1!

I'd told Gedstrom that we'd be staying in a B&B, for the last night but I don't think he expected just how nice a place it was, on the banks of Loch Lomond.

We had a fabulous meal in the village of Luss that night before returned to our pad for the night. I'm sure Gedstrom will post an image of my left shin, which I bloodied on a bed frame, which hurt a bit! But the pain was reduced by seeing this out of the window.

The next morning the weather was a little overcast.

And the little Cessna was ready to jump into action.

But I was offered the righthand seat in the Cessna Caravan, so who was I to refuse?

Shortly after take off we saw this plume of fire.

The smoke was so severe that it affected operations out of Glasgow Airport!

So on landing on the river Clyde, I went into the BBC building opposite to where we'd landed and provided them with the images for their website coverage and for the Scottish Mail on Sunday!

From there it was the long ride back to Lancashire.

A fabulous trip, awesome weather, great company (shame Doc wasn't up to it), tasty food (& big helpings) and plenty of laughs!

Oh, before I sign off, I must admit that my chair collapsed as well!!!!!

What a great report there Reggie. Wonderful weather too. I bet Ged enjoyed himself as the Highlands when the sun shines is a great place to be riding a motorcycle.

I wish I was up in that plane with you, it looked like a lot of fun.

Roads? Where we're going we don't need roads!

Mornin' Doc,

we missed you matey.

We spent one day with me riding as pillion, on his DL1000 and me giving him advanced riding instruction! He was soon cornering at over 90mph and was a joy to give advice to.

The flight was awesome, even better as it was free!

Hi Dan,

for me I think it's the cloud, clinging to the summit that makes the shot.

One of the great things about the trip was the fact that Ged's never been into photography but showed interest in some of my camera techniques and was soon clicking away like a good 'un.

Hi Reggie,

Thank's for the report and pics! Good to see you got some
stick time.

That last fire photo sure shows it's scope and how insignificant
the fire fighting equipment seems to be in relation to it's size.
