Hi Splatman, Sorry, I promise to call you by your proper given name from now on. Wow, two extra horsepower for 2005... that's a 10 percent increase. I'm impressed. I wonder what changes they made to the engine to do it? As if you can't already tell, I love tech trivia. Thanks for the generous helping. I seriously doubt that anyone here would give up their Serow for an overweight detuned 5 speed sled. Even if it has the name *Serow* on it, it's not as good a bike as the original. Greg
