I got my hands on a decent OEM tank so I am thinking about selling my Clarke tank I bought less then 2 years ago. I have run maybe 2 tanks of fuel through it. Its black with the original cap and an OEM XT225 petcock that I rebuilt with new seals. Located in Ohio but I would ship. I have plenty of feedback on many forums and Ebay for reference. $180 and I will split shipping with you OBO.

I also have many other parts available. I bought a wrecked bike for a few parts and have plenty left in good shape. Full gauge cluster and bracket, OEM headlight or an LED light I modified to bolt in the factory mounts, full air box assembly (no filter), electrical parts. I have the engine and it ran but the front motor mount area of the cases were broken off in the wreck. Good for parts only.

can you tell me about the led headlight?

i bought a cheap led h4 bulb from cycle gear and the beam pattern leaves much to be desired...

I bought what looks like a cheap copy of the JNS style bulb that is popular for the DRZ400.. I then took my stock headlight that has the glas busted off and cut the mount tabs off of it and epoxied them to the LED bulb. The pattern is not perfect but it gets the job done. I have pics on my phone I can send you. It also does not sit flush with the stock shroud due to the odd shape of the originals glass. The good thing about my setup is it bolts into the stock adjustable frame so you can fine tune the aim and it is secure.

Generally you can shim the bulb to move it fore/aft a little to alter the beam pattern. Mine isn't perfect, but its passable. It's more about me being seen in the day rather than me being able to see at night.

Tank is SOLD, I still have lots of parts for the bike.

Do you have skid plate to fit an 04' xt225?
