..I've looked at the manual it quotes 235W at 14V @ 5000rpm. The battery charger connection doesn't add any load.
The sat nav draws mA s , The heated grips don't pull full power all the time. The battery is in good condition, I've just ridden it for 2 hours with the grips on full power, I couldn't smell anything, I'll let you know if anything burns out.. Never loaded the electrical system on the 2012 XT250 I had anywhere near what you have drawing current on yours, but from what you report I'd guess you most likely won't smell anything that's overly hot, and that's good. If you do just shut it down or turn something 'off' before it bursts into flame, then work backwards from there to figure it out!..

Welcome Rasper, sounds like your Serow is going to get some serious usage. I keep wearing mine out but I won't be beat, there's always a fix. I did 4k miles on my 225 last year, mostly winter. Never had heated grips, it's my trunk that feels the cold, need more newspaper down me shirt in winter eh.

My bike Green and white Serow touring xt250 .
Was stolen in broad daylight in Guiseley West Yorkshire outside the Morrisons supermarket.
They threaten the security guard with a brick.
Bike reg : PF62XHH.
I can't post picks or videos but if anyone in the UK can pm me , I can WhatsApp them the video and photos.
And if anyone gets offered it please let me know.

Damn, Rasper.. Sorry to hear about your bike being stolen. That sucks. I can only imagine how frustrating it must be.
I hope that the police are able to track down the thieves and recover your bike. In the meantime, everyone there in England needs to keep an eye out for it on social media and online marketplaces. If by some stroke of luck I see anything online from across the pond, I'll let you know.
I know it's not much, but people get stolen bikes back under odd circumstances, so don't give up on it. Keep your eyes open and let us know how the pursuit is going.
Best of luck with recovering your bike, and if you find the thieves you have our 'permission' (if permission is needed!) to go all 'John Wayne' on their sorry asses..

Sorry to hear about the theft. I hope you get a break and see your bike returned. Over the years here, a few stolen bikes did get recovered. Try not to lose hope.
