My recently acquired 2005 XT225 came missing the OEM cowling and healight. The only factory piece remaining from the headlight assembly is the square bracket.

Are there any good/preferred options for an aftermarket production replacement (both cowling and headlight?) I've done some searching around but haven't found much yet.

Or is my best bet to keep perusing Ebay for used OEM replacements?

I may want to add a windscreen in future and would like to upgrade to LEDs as well.

I don't know that there's anything preferred, but there are several options for "universal fit" LED light housings that would work, either round or rectangular. Once you pick round or rectangular, that narrows down the aftermarket fairing options.

OEM body panels are getting rare as hen's teeth these days. You might be able to find one in a salvage yard. I dont know for sure, but parts from the TW200 or Raptor 250 ATV might fit.

The cowling is still available new for a 2007 model. $60 new+ shipping. I haven't found a headlight yet. But there may be other parts missing. There are a LOT of little parts in that area, grommets, spacers, screws, etc. 2007 parts are the same as 2005 parts, and most parts go all the way back to '92.
