Hi, as it is in the rules, I am saying hi!
Not really aan owner of xt225/250, but I'd say really close to that. I have TW125 that's starting the process of putting in xt225 internals to make it 225cc 6spd.
Started riding bikes as a 6yo on 2t 40cc road "race" bikie. Raced our republics cup for a few years and stopped. Next came stunts and trial-y stuff on bicycle for a quite long time, but very lightly mixed with small dirtbikes. Then with drivers licence came TW( whew, that is 8years ago!) and quickly started trying the bicycle stunt stuff on TW. I was pretty scared of dropping it tho, so I got gasgas EC250 as a "starter" bike. With that bike I got to our republics enduro races. Three years later the races were pushed off because of lack of time and so did the gasgas. Now I fell in love with the TW again and even more than ever.
I'm here mainly to collect info and maybe post few interesting things about 225 engines - as a first one: Did you know you can almost swap ( requires machining 3mm of the place where the oil pump gets bolted on and swaping the drive gear of yfm pump for xt drive gear) yfm350 oil pump to get more oil flow?

Also I am developing a "cool" oil cooler adapter ( by cool I mean it doesn't look like a brick) and altering the oil flow to valvetrain to feed cooled oil to the head.
This seems to be a final version, but it still is just 3d printed.

Another project of mine is putting DT125 dashboard on the TW. The dt has a tach, water(oil for me) temp and oil light. All of which I plan to make use of.

I imagine quite a lot of things could more or less directly translate to XTs

Whoof, I got quite caught up in this.. laugh

Hi and welcome to the site as a new USER. Enjoy, ride safely and post on! Prusa Research is in the Czech Republic and makes good 3D printers. I have their i3 MK3 and did the kit version. It makes good 3D parts and is great for R&D projects. I've not made any motorcycle parts with it yet but you're ahead of the curve. I had a PLC panel show up in my shop with busted clips. No replacement parts available either. So I modeled the part below:

3D model using FreeCAD running on Linux Mangaro.

Printed part on right taken from on unbroken clip.

Repaired expansion module.

Busted clips in need of replacement.

This saved my customer about $1,500 and weeks of delays trying to file a damage claim with UPS. Please post what you make for us to see. Thanks.
