Can anyone point me to a URL or other source that I can view and print out showing all the parts for the XT 225 and how they are all assembled? Mine is a newly acquired 92 XT 225 that has seen a bit of knuckle headed assembly over the years.

I have this information for other bikes I have or had over the years and its so helpful to look at these diagrams and see where everything is supposed to go, right down to the various screws, bolts, grommets, and washers.

I know these diagrams are viewable on most dealer's websites, but when I go to print them out, the drawings, texts, and prices all get jumbled on top of one another. I asked my local dealer's parts manager if he knew of a way I could just print out the drawings, but he could not offer any advice.

Yamaha's Parts Site will have diagrams and part numbers. No pricing there. A screen print might get you a paper copy of a specific diagram. An OEM Yamaha service manual is a good investment if you're doing the work.

Dennis - U R Welcome. That bookmark will come in handy as I've used it many times for part numbers, parts assemblies and seeing what parts cross model years. A bit of patience required to sift through the diagrams to find the ones of interest.

www.cheapcycleparts.com has diagrams and all the parts prices. You can order parts from them. Most dealers won't even look up parts for a bike that old. I have been dealing with this place for almost 20 years, and get pretty much all my parts for my 3 Japanese bikes from them.

The above is my opinion. Your mileage may vary.
1994/2001 custom built XT225 with a ton of aftermarket parts.
