Ok so I realize now that everything on this site is geared towards the nw and west BUT I'm as far southeast as we can get so, I'm reaching out here guys! Anyone want to ride ocala national forest or croom off road trails? Or somewhere else in the northern edge of florida or south Georgia or Alabama or south Carolina? I'd be happy to come to the north west too but I'd spend all my time just getting there. Maybe a summer month I could take off? Invites welcome!! 😁 I am up for helping organize a group trip?

In Oregon, I'm about as far away as I can be. One suggestion I have though, is to also reach out to the TW200 forum with this request. The bikes are very similar. They'll make fun of your skinny tires, but that doesn't last for long, especially when you point out that your transmission is larger than theirs.

Sounds like fun, except for the mosquitoes.... I'm a walking mosquito magnet. If you haven't already, you might try advrider.com. If you drill down, there's regional sub forums where you might find locals.
This shall pass, be still and know. 2006 XT225, UNI filter, ProTaper bars, MSR handguards, SS front brake line, Shinko 241's.

Oregon looks fun on you tube. That's to bad it's 3000 miles away. I want to make it out there again with a bike next time. I got to hike last time and see some waterfall and I bet the trails are of every kind out there.

Oh come on I wont let any mosquitoes get you! It's winter and they are hibernating like bears, except our bears aren't hibernating! There are almost none right now, but in a few months you have to cake on the deet- or the limon and eucalyptus. Or once you get a solid 1 to 2 layers of mud on everything they can't even find you anymore!
I'll just ride solo and take pics and you guys can just pretend you came along- and if the pics stop coming, send help lol 👍
