So I have an interesting 'rattle' happening when I'm in motion. Does not appear when idling and once my RPM get higher, it disappears as well. Nothing overly concerning, not a 'clunk' or a 'thud' but more of a high frequency vibration, almost sounds like when change in a cupholder is vibrating against each other in a car. I've checked every front end bolt I can think of and tried moving my hand around the front end while moving to see if I can get it to stop but haven't been able to figure anything out. I know that rattles can be total ghosts and it's impossible to diagnose without really experiencing it but wanted to take the pulse of the group and see if there are any obvious or known spots worth checking again.

Thanks!

With bolts and fasteners tight, it sounds a lot like what I experienced with my CRF230L, the headlight cowling vibrating against a pressure point on the front fender at certain speeds. Shimmed it with a thin strip of rigid foam construction board. Problem solved. Won't go so far as to say you've experiencing something similar with your bike, but it may be worth checking..

I had a similar problem with my CBR, at a certain rpm/road speed the whole front fairing would buzz. On yours I'd check the headlight surround, the front fender, and the "wings" on the front of the gas tank.
