So I’ve had my XT225 Since Ocotober 2018 and it’s a little rough around the edges but worked fine enough for me. Fast forward to 2019 and I did a to total of mike four trails and a TON of daily riding to work on it since my other motorcycle got stolen. My issue then was when I got to about 8k altitude and uphill my bike would die unless I had constant throttle going and wouldn’t idle, however if I was somewhat level it was fine even at that altitude.

Fast forward to November 21st 2019 I was riding home and got rear ended going 45mph and wrecked the bike and I believe it slid and flipped once along with me doing the same. I hurt my back and the bike sat in storage the past six months. Now it’s May 2019 and I ended up replacing the intake manifold because I realized it was old and semi cracked back not all the way through, new air filter and oiled, new tires, changed brake fluid and bled, battery seems fine. I drove it around where I live which is 5800 get roughly and I went uphill slowly in traffic and died, I started with full choke because otherwise it wouldn’t start. This happened several more times. I then drove around a bit more and probably killed it uphill or down hill twenty times. Then a few more times on level ground. The weird part is most of the time it idled fine until it started having a fit.

Any ideas? I’m running out of money for parts and I’d love to be able to trail this before the season ends.

Dustin, haven't noticed any suggestions just yet on your bike problems. Maybe because you've provided rather limited info to work with, not really sure. Anyway, just wondering if you've made any progress sorting the issue out. Hope that's the case. Let us know where you are with it at this time..
