Best wishes for a happy and healthy holiday season. Hope everyone meets their goals and objectives for 2020. Travel safely if that's in your plans.

Jeannie and I will be visiting some friends on Christmas that are having a small get together. Should be fun for a couple of hours.

So far December hasn't produced any hardcore winter storms. Glad about that!

Merry Christmas one and all! Best wishes for the holiday and the year ahead. Enjoyed everything posted on the site this year. Looking forward to a great year to come for all of us.

Wish we hadn't come home from our trip to Ogden, Utah with chest colds, but it's making the rounds so there's no foolproof way to dodge it, especially this time of year.

Santa's on his way according to Google's Santa tracker, making his way through Russia at the moment then on to the rest of the world. Hope you've landed on Santa's 'Nice' list this year!

Looks like we may have a white Christmas. Snow is starting to fall and it's supposed to continue the next two or three days. Haven't had much at all this year, the last some weeks ago, so a white Christmas would be most welcomed!..

Going to visit friends in town for a couple of hours. Have some eats and laughs down their too. This year just flew by didn't it!

Overall optimism is looking good for 2020 from the signals I'm picking up.

The year really did seem to fly by. This time of year taking stock of what we've done and why we've done it while planning for the year ahead seems the natural thing to do. Hope everyone is optimistic for the new year regardless of disappointments this year. The best to each of you this special day and through the new year..

Happy Boxing Day to our UK, Canadian, Australian, New Zealand and other members who observe today as a holiday! Watching an English Premier League football match later today with my youngest son Kris, who played competitively from the age of 6 till he was 20.

Sharon and I picked up a 4k TV for Christmas. Watching sports shows and movies on it is a treat. She's not a huge sports fan but she does enjoy certain EPL football highlight shows like Chelsea vs Tottenham three days ago, a contest Chelsea won 2 - 0.

Seeing a match in condensed form with major plays highlighted and analyzed from every possible angle shows in detail the complexities of the game along with the incredible athleticism of players with the ability to make the seemingly impossible look easy, both defensively and offensively.

Little wonder that football is the worlds most enjoyed sport. Today's Boxing Day games will be followed by fans world wide. Kris and his boys will choose the game we watch, and spending time with them is always fun -- especially when it's cold and snowy outside while the fire inside keeps us warm and comfortable!

Once again, a Happy Boxing Day to all!

Christmas was a quiet get together with some friends in town. 5 of us total. No plans for New Years other than the usual stuff.

Just finished up a 6-8" snowstorm which was unexpected. Bit of sun now and 10F this morning. Got the place plowed and shoveled to include our hiking trail. We usually do 4 miles daily. Or we might do some BC skiing. Depends on mood, wind and work load.

To all else, have a Happy New and travel safely.
