This is my bike after I just brought it home.
Since then I have:
-Replaced headlight globe.
-Replaced tailight globe.
-Replaced two indicator lenses.
-Attached another mirror (LH).
-Thoroughly cleaned the bike.
-Replaced shifter peg and bolt.
-Replaced speedo cable.
-Replaced broken dash with aftermarket speedo and tacho.
-Straightened many brackets.
-Attached a chain guard.
-Replaced O-ring in starter motor and on the oil in hole.
-Replaced clutch lever.
-Fixed horn.
-Changed oil filter and oil.
-Changed chain sprockets.
I will try to take photos of the upgraded bike tommorrow and upload.
All this has already cost roughly $500au of OEM parts.

Power sports isn't cheap or maintenance free. Always something to fix, upgrade or replace. But once you get the bike as you want it, you'll enjoy it for many years. Not a bad value overall. Photos always good. Ride safely.

Haydn, if the bike turns out like you intend it to, and it's ready for reliable go anywhere use, you'll have done well parts and labor wise. Looking forward to the new photos!..

Looks like it'll make a good bike.

Sounding great, be like a new'n. They do take some abuse off road requiring much maintenance. Costs similar per mile to running my Tiger 1050 road bike. Therapeutic though innit grubbing under yer bike. Keeps ya out of mischief anorl.
