Rec'n should've replaced discs before now. Looking quite shabby. Back's worst for wear but I can lock the wheel with that, the front's not so badly'ish worn, but more of an ornament.

Only got 26,300 km's recorded, likely porkies eh. Had 18,000 km's when I got it 5 years ago, according to mot's it had only done 1500km's in the previous 3 years. 'Tis 23 year old now.

What's normal life of discs for a Serow used 25/75 off/on road

EBC list them on their website so not a problem, 150 should sort that with new pads.

Hi Paul,

I usually get about 50,000 miles out of a front disc, when used for gentle commuting use but this drops to nearer 30,000 miles when doing heavy traffic commuting, all stop start and reacting to poor traffic.

I use EBC pads and discs for all replacements.

Regards

Thanks Reggie. Likely my bike may have done more than the recorded miles then, the discs are wearing faster than the pads.

Some of the more aggressive pads are known to do that... wear the disk faster than the pad.

Yes, I'm thinking the PO might have fitted HH in the rear.
