A slice-of-life animation that's a ton of fun and doesn't take itself too seriously. It follows the stories of school girls who are inspired to set up a school bike club by the main character. She has a Serow 225.

I've loved this stuff for years but haven't been able to get many sellers in Japan to ship to the UK.

A few weeks ago I managed to get some foil card holders, that include an image of a Serow on it, so if you'd like one (I've got ten so there are 9 spare)just send me a PM with your address.

For years I've been searching for a model of the Serow, produced by Bandai and thanks to my great mate Stevie, I've managed to buy one, had it shipped to his mother in laws address in Japan and he'll forward it to me. I can't wait to see it!

I'm also on the lookout for anything Serow wise, whether it be in print (such as a bike mag ride test, sales pamphlet, cartoon), or model (anything plastic, metal, paper), in fact anything Yamaha Serow related, so if anyone has anything like this for sale then please let me know.

That's Hane-chan. Onsa-chan is the Serow girl.

They all have brand affiliation; Hane-chan likes Honda and has a Honda Super Four 400 Hyper-VTEC, Onsa-chan likes Yamaha stuff and usually on a Serow 225, gets a TZR250 3MA to race with in one chapter, Rin-chan is mad about Suzuki and has a Katana 400 and aspires to a Katana 1100 Yoshimura, Raimu-senpai has a Kawasaki ZX-12R, and Hijiri-chan gets taken about in the side-car of Ducati bikes. Chisame-chan rides a few different things but ends up on a Honda PCX.

The writer knew a great deal about bikes and it's clear that it's a bit of a work of passion - especially in the scenes where Hane-chan encounters "Jesus" while out and about.

I want another series to be made.

He goes on to explain that bikes are the weakest form of transport. That they're cold, riders are vulnerable, and if we try to use them practically with luggage or pillion, the riding dynamics are compromised.They are feeble and flawed like people are, and that's why we love them.

I have a mighty need. Roadworthy check comes up in a few weeks, and she's fixin to bomb it with several major faults, so I'm gonna put money to the big Serow before I shell out for a small one. But I'll get one sometime.
