I mentioned this in the other thread, but give it more air. There are some adjustable airbox covers and some DIY versions. One guy who hasn't been here in a while drilled 1" holes in the cover and used electrical box plugs to allow more air in at altitude. Tape could work as well.

There are also some adjustable ports that you can mount into your airbox...open and close as you need to.
Can't remember what they're called...

I took out an air filter for the experience at an altitude of 2600 m; the difference is small.

When you took the air filter out, was the cover on or off? A quick way to check is to remove the cover. If the performance improves, it's clearly rich and needs more air.

You might also need to do the "Z1 mod" and remove the snorkel to allow the bike to move more air.

Additional windows for air is not bad.
But a radical solution is the installation of an injection fan smile
