So, I have only owned my 2006 xt225. My buddy bought a 1993 xt225 and Iím pretty sure the owner put the little 2 pieces that make your chain tighter on backwards. He said he put a new chain on it, but itís already tightened to 4. And I feel like for a new Chain thatís way too tight. Also for my bike, I remove my rear wheel by removing a bolt on the left side. His is on the right. Is that wrong?

Older bikes might be different, I'm not sure. The setting on the adjusters is fine, it should be in the middle of the range with stock sprockets.
