Just made a short test video of my LED running lights. It's a daytime test, but I'm working on a video showing night time results. I'll post that a little later when I finish it. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=o2io_dspxLc

Thanks for the comparison video. Very interesting. Super bright LEDs are so useful when improving lighting and at significantly lower power levels and heat. We have two headlamps based on super bright LEDs that we wear for night hikes, skiing, climbs, etc. These are so bright and light enough of a span you could almost drive with them. Amazing stuff! Your video clearly shows significant improvements over OEM incandescent lamps. Always good to make improvements. Satisfying!
What software did you use to do the video editing?

I use Power Director II for videos, and ProShow Gold V-6 for slide & special effects to mate into my videos. When doing audio editing, I have Gold Wave V-6. They all are older versions, but they do most everything I need to do. BTW: The LEd's used on the XT are ... https://www.ebay.com/p/2x-3inch-24w-CREE...id=281994307484

Thanks for the info. I have Pro Show Producer which is a good product. Sony Vegas Pro for video editing. Complex program. Same for me with older version. Gets the job done. Ride safely.

Good video. The difference is pretty dramatic. Can you angle the LED's out for a little wider view?
This shall pass, be still and know. 2006 XT225, UNI filter, ProTaper bars, MSR handguards, SS front brake line, Shinko 241's.

I can angle them more to side. For my style of riding, I mostly want to be seen. Don't do much night riding. Made video just to show what it looks like after dark. There's a quick glimps of mounting in this video. ( At 5:30 & 6:13 ) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZpZ95WWbehg Some still images... Right bracket.. Left bracket.. Switch bracket. ( Custom made from 1/16 aluminum.) Wiring. ( Under headlight.) Overall ... Here's my Harbor Freight horns mounting. FWIW Right side.... Left side... Not shown is a 1 1/2" x 8" aluminum bar across the horn brackets to mount my GoPro on. ( See video above.)
