Hey guys I'm wondering where I would find the brackets for mounting the pillion pegs to my 97. Any other bikes have compatible brackets? For a while in my state you had to get a "compliance plate" for registering a bike as 1 seater (cheaper)... Gone are those days, but unfortunately mine now lacks footpegs and the passenger handles... Not having too much luck on ebay but will continue my search. Footpegs being included would be good, but those seem to be abundant anyway, so really just want the brackets. Anyone know of a P/N? Well at least the PO thoughtfully left the bolts on there... Cheers Edit: Managed to find a pair at not the WORST ever price.... $80AUD shipped

The race was definitely underway. I had witnessed the start, I was sure of that much. But what now? What comes next?

Hey mate, I'm down in ACT, and I know of a serow in the wreckers next to my work if you need anything. It has anything right down to original tool tube! I've had the carb off it, complete other than that. It's called Joe's motorcycles in Fyshwick. If you need something collecting from there and posting I can do it for you, post office round the corner. Good luck with the bike

Damn thanks for the tip..I'll give them a call tomorrow and find out what their pricing would be on the tool tube and the pillion pegs (and anything else I can think of..) Would be awesome to have an original tool tube! Any idea whether all the tools are there? Cheers

I didn't look inside but I'd assume so. Even the helmet lock was still on it, shame about having to take the key to match! Joe's prices can be a bit steep sometimes though unfortunately... In the next couple of weeks I might have pegs and handles you can have for free. I've not committed 100% to what I'm thinking of doing with the bike (single seater with a big rack) yet.

Geez that'd be real kind of you should you decide on that mod. Never know though you could end up regretting it if you wanted to carry a foxy lady on the back Couldn't take them for nothing though, would swing cash your way for sure

Mine doesn't have any pillion pegs, I was thinking if I can't find any, I'd make up triangular pieces of alloy bolted to the frame & fix some pegs on the third corner. Not sure how thick the alloy would need to be, 'pends on how fat the pillion is I s'pose. Mebbe 5mm, what ya rec'n?

Hey Otis, hopefully you read this in time! You're ad must have expired and I lost your contact details! Black butt post office called me, they have the package waiting for you. Let me know how it goes, Dan
