Have you fitted a freer flowing air filter? If not, what condition is your air filter in? has it been cleaned & oiled?
yes. I just cleaned it. I have an OMI fuel filter as well.

If the bike is otherwise stock, it should probably have a 125 main jet, though some have a 122.5. Are there any shims under the needle? Generally there's no need for shims. The float level could also be significantly too high which would cause low fuel level in the bowl and maybe starve it of gas at higher speeds.
This shall pass, be still and know. 2006 XT225, UNI filter, ProTaper bars, MSR handguards, SS front brake line, Shinko 241's.

yes. I just cleaned it. I have an OMI fuel filter as well. Is that the stock air filter? And you did oil it as well? It just sounds to me like a weak mixture. Too much air to fuel.

I'm having the same trouble, I think I've narrowed it down to the air cut off valve cover. Give it a quick google and you'll see the problem. Either cracked, not seated properly or missing o rings. The vacuum that passes through the cover lifts the diaphragm. Less vacuum equals less power. Also a cracked manifold can cause a similar problem if it's really bad, I think.
