2017 XT250:
Thinking about hand guards. Don't want to pull grips off just yet.
What does the end of handlebar look like? Is it hollow, have threaded hole, or ???
My grips are stock, and cover end of bar, so I can't see unless I remove, or cut.
Suggestions on a good set.

The bars are hollow, no threaded inserts.

These aren't cheap, but they'd be my first choice. I like the integrated mirrors. https://www.highwaydirtbikes.com/index.p...4tmw8dq793780g4

Otherwise I have MSR hand guards and they work fine.

Seems most of my riding is on narrow two-tracks with brush that hangs out into the roadway. I got tired of having my knuckles smashed so I installed a set of maximum-coverage hand guards:

I like the size of those. I'll have to look into them.

Update: I went with the Cycra Probend.

Here's my result install...

Easy install, only had to add a 1/2" spacer with longer bolt to clear my brake hose. ( Made one from PVC pipe scrap. )
