I suffered multiple broken bones in my right foot, after the swingarm pivot part of a frame fell on the instep. I was back on a motorcycle within 90 days, although for a few months I had to wear different thickness socks on each foot. If I remember right, that was 6 years ago, and the foot hardly ever bothers me, despite 11 titanium screws and 2 plates.

Post surgery, pain from opioid-induced constipation was worse than the the surgery itself.

Thanks Selden, I was not aware they did so much to my feet (only wanted to go thu this once so I told them to do both feet) in surgery. SOOO I didn't know it was going to hurt so much but am pass the worse. Didn't take any thing other than Advil as the opioid stuff makes me throw up within the first hour and that makes the whole thing even worse.

But to make things even worst decided to deal with floaters in my eye SOOO had eye surgery yesterday (fluid change) as both surgery will have about the same recovery time (less time bored on my butt). All is going well but I am starting to feel like a '57 Chevy being restored. When finished I will be a shiny Classic! smile

Exactly! Tell us more!

I have a huge problem with floaters - with HUGE floaters. Three different optometrists and one ophthalmologist have looked in my eyes and the first word out of all 4 was WOW! All said they'd never seen such huge floaters.

Thing is, I was always told that there was nothing that could be done about them, even though they really interfere with my vision. Are you saying something has changed now - the floater problem can be fixed??

From then on it is gradually back to normal activities. Had the Right Eye done Apr '16 and now the left. The improvement was incredibility. Dirt riding was back with ease and a lot of other activities (driving at night). Just make sure you find a really good Doc.
