What is involved? Do you just need to add the lights and a new relay?

But, depending upon your meaning, you could just replace the rear 1167 OEM bulbs with LED types...same with the taillight, and it saves available amperage. Blink rate will be faster, which also can be corrected if this is important to you.

I have some broken lights (the plastic) so I was looking at just swapping all four for LEDs, new fixtures. Glad to know nothing special is needed. I read stuff about three wire lights, diodes needed to make dash indicator work, etc.

If you're replacing the front turn signals, you'll need 3 wire lights if you want to retain the running light function. If you want to maintain the flash rate, you'll have to replace the flasher relay with an LED compatible part.

Now that you mention it, I do recall something about the indicator on the dash not working right. I don't know the details of that.

Edit... and please put year/model bike in your signature line. That way we'll know what you're referring to.
