Hi Guys n Gals,
today I decided it was time to give both Team Cabra (my Brazilian XT225) and Team Ukulele (my Japan XT225 Serow) a bit of an engine run, in preparation for the Winter season and I fond that Team Cabra's silencer (or Muffler for our US cousins) had seen better days and needed replacement.
I have very tidy spare exhaust, but I'm saving that for when I eventually do a full restoration on Team Ukulele, so a quick search on the internet and I found an after-market replacement available from Delkevic. My order was placed by 2:30pm today and is expected to be delivered by tomorrow afternoon, so expect some shots tomorrow!
Regards
Reggie

Hi Guys n Gals, true to their word, the couriers delivered the new exhaust kit and here's what came in the box. And after a very short time, it was fitted, without resorting to the use of exhaust sealant. I'll run her for a few days before deciding f I need to use the sealant. I must admit the sound is nice n deep, a bit louder than the OEM but nowhere near as loud as the MIVV system that I fitted to the 250! Regards

Good stuff. Can you post a video of the 2 of them running to hear the difference?

Hi Peejman,
sorry can't post one of the 250, as I traded her in towards the CCM.
As for the 225, well I really must look at recording it etc. Watch this space, as they say!

Hi Reggie, did you have jetting issues with this exhaust?

Hi Joe,
none whatsoever.
Understand you're OK now since you adjusted the float height.

Reggie, I put on a FMF Powercore 4 exhaust on my 2015 XT250. I pulled the snorkel cover but I think may be too lean by looking at the plug. Would the programmer be needed?

Hi There,
I haven't used an FMF on any of my bikes but can say that other exhausts I've used on my XT225s and XT250's have not needed re-jetting.
The standard set up does remain very lean though.
Good luck.

Ayup Reggie,
Is Delkevic part of/owned by DK m/c, looks to be?
Is that the 350 or 450mm can you got?
