I needed a little more leg room on my XT225. I decided to see what I could do with the original seat. I new if I messed up that I could get a Seats Concepts cover for it.I went to Harbor Freight and got a pack of the pads used for standing at a workbench.I took the original cover and foam off of the seat pan. I cut out four layers of the pads making each one just a little bit smaller. I attached these to the seat pan with Gorilla Tape so that I could easily remove them if need. I then put the original foam on top and again used the tape to secure it. I went to the fabric store and got a piece of Marine vinyl to cover the seat with. I used an air stapler to fasten the cover on the pan and just took my time and worked slow.It turned out to be very comfortable and doesn't look to bad either.
