I ended up using 3 - 3/4" conduit plugs (required 1 1/8" holes) all 3 fit across the top of the airbox hidden by the side cover now need to wait until summer in CO to test out! (that won't come fast enough!)

I find that with a 127.5 main jet, Z1 mod, 3-turn mod on standard #40 Pilot Jet, and removed snorkel...that the only thing required between Sea Level and 13,000' is a small increase (mechanically) of the idle speed setting/adjustment at altitude. There's just less HP up there...
(Obviously the plugs are IN at Sea Level, and OUT above 8000' or so)

Very professional. Please keep us posted on how it performs with 1, 2, and 3 holes open (assuming there is any noticeable difference).
Don't fix it if it ain't broke, don't break it if you can't fix it.

Thanks! my holes were a bit off the target but good enough!
I was thinking poping a plug every 3000' in altitude for starters and just adjust from there

Nice work. You could actually "jet" to run a bit rich at Sea Level, and open up one plug to compensate.

good idea....give me something to do until summer
I don't ride the streets much in Florida cause the distracted drivers scare the crap out of me!
I just ride the hood to exercise the bike and am looking at some nearby motorcycle parks. But I must admit, after riding 6 summers in CO, not much in Florida excites me.....:(

Very nice! If you're in the Winter Haven area in early January, perhaps we'll meet.
