Hi Geoff,

just think of the positives though, you're going to have a couple of new PTW's, that you can use with ease, which will allow you to experience the joy of being on two wheels!

I've always said that it's not what you ride that's important, it's the fact that you continue to ride!

Ayup Goeff,

Sorry to hear that bad news but good that you'll still be on 2 wheels.

I'm holding off with the knee replacement as long as possible but must be walking awkwardly to compensate 'cos me hip on other leg is giving grief.

All worn out an busted up eh.

Hi Paul, yeah, I think I've gone past the 'used but good' stage. I'm more 'knackered but still laughing'!

As long as your 'Big Ends' not gone, then you're OK!

I'm a couple of weeks or so from the XT225 I bought off eBay arriving here in Heber/Overgaard. Contracted with a hauler through uShip. Nice fellow named Dan. Runs a mom and pop hauling company called "1 Simple Choice". He and his wife and their two dogs haul nation wide, focusing mainly on motorcycles. He's a rider himself and worked as a long haul trucker for a lot of years. He finally hung up his log book and retired. Wasn't long though before he got itchy feet, so he and his wife started contract hauling, with 90% of their business coming through uShip. They love what they do and it shows in the glowing feedback they get from their many satisfied customers.

Anyway, won't be too long and the '06 XT225 will be parked at my place here in the cool Arizona high country. Looking forward to that happening. In the meantime catching up on what's going on with fellow XT'ers around the country and across the pond is a lot of fun! Great bunch of guys and gals. I consider myself fortunate to be part of this group!

George - Welcome back and congratulations on getting another bike. I know how much you enjoy riding. Here's wishing you a smooth eBay transaction. Hope all things are going well and you're enjoying yourself.

As for being a great bunch here, you're part of that reason. Stand up and give yourself a pat on the back.

Thanks Scott! Good to be back!! Looking forward to the '06 I bought arriving. Working with a really great seller and a quality transporter to get that done. Barring anything unforeseen two weeks plus will see the bike roll up my driveway.

Have lots of plans for it, mainly exploring off the beaten track nooks and crannies in this area. Highway 260 is the single east/west highway through the Heber/Overgaard area. Other local roads are back woods tracks transitioning to national forest trails and old logging or fire break roads.

Hope you and Jeannie are doing well. See you're back east again. A pat on your broad shoulders for the work you do keeping the board running smoothly. Along with everyone else I hope the board upgrade you're planning works as it should..
