Small iridescent bugs were gathering on specific plants and eating the foliage.

This is a Jimson weed bloom.

I followed Jenny and Sharron down Long Canyon while the others rode on to camp.

This was the best ride of the week, great scenery and only a little soft sand and mud to deal with.

Amazing landscape and terrific photos. I feel vertiginous looking at some of those drop offs. Jane

Great ride report - and stunning pictures!

Thanks for posting all of that and letting us share in a small way, the experience of such great riders.

Max and I hope your jaw is feeling better. At least you know that you don't have a "glass jaw." :^)

Hi Guys, thanks for the comments. I have not had internet service for a couple of days while I was in Blanding, Utah.
I'm now home and need to get the last Moab report finished.

The Blanding area has great scenery and I had a two rides with lots of pictures.

Hi Moto, the writing on Sharrons cowl lists all the trails she has completed. Jenny has a similar list on her helmet.

Today was our last day for riding in the Moab area. Most of the people had plans to move the next day. We decided to do a short easy ride. Here are some views of the camp.

We started our ride going into Arches National Park on Willow Spring Road. This is a good 4X4 road into the park.

Steve’s second try at the hill was successful.

Carol is in this picture starting a good run up the hill.

Lisa gave us a scare when she started up the hill.

After she got started, she made it up the hill in good order.

Richard rode up without any trouble.

I managed to stay on the pegs all the way up the hill.

We found an area with a lot of soft sand and deep ruts.

This is our gang, Sharron, Richard, Steve, Carol, Judy, Lisa and Slojoe.

This time Jenny is at the right.
