Hi there all,
I am new to this forum so here goes...
I am looking at buying a xt225 with 14000km on the clock. The bike seems to start and run fine but every time you turn the bike off, it makes a sort or "CLUNK". Is this normal?. Maybe its the starter motor clunking.
Just needs some advise as otherwise bike is very clean and well looked after.
Cheers

Hi DJ,

DJ, welcome to the site. The XT you are looking at sounds like a good bike to have. Go for it, mate.

Best Regards, Tracy

Well thank you Tracy for the welcome.

You got to love the internet, your in Montana (I think) and I'm in Australia but the XT225 is universal.

Till next time,
Dave.

And I'm in Lancashire and before you ask, yes it's raining!

Delayed last reply as I was watching the MotoGP from Spain on Eurosport!

Yes mate, they do make that noise. Don't know what it is exactly but it's normal. My old Honda XL 600 used to do the same thing.
Good luck with your new toy.

Same here... but since it's clunked for all of its 7,500 miles, and I still have no idea what it is, it just can't be serious...

What part of Aus are you in?

The boys in the GP really messed up that corner.

Hey Mark,

Hows the wine in the Hunter, I try to remember, but there was just too many wineries and so little time.
