Good video which I thoroughly enjoyed watching. Bike skills, practice, training, judgment and being fit goes a long way towards good safe rides.
I don't bounce as well as I once did.

Falling happens. I swiped a cedar tree just after climbing a hill. Near the top it twisted the handlebars and down I went. Rolled the fall out and didn't get more than a few scrapes. Stupid line and I deserved what I got.
I think doing weight training is good insurance against joint problems. Helps a bit with falls too. Rider skill is HUGE and efforts spent there provide good benefits.
