I couldn't find any crash bars when I did an on line search, so I made my own.
I used electrical EMT pipe. I know it's not all that strong, but I don't ride all that hard. I only want to protect the plastics if bike goes over, and hopefully my legs if I go down from loosing my footing. If I go down any harder, I won't be worrying about my plastics.
Here's a short video showing how I did it.

Add some highway pegs and you'll be all set.

This shall pass, be still and know.

How did you bend the tubes?

I bought a EMT pipe bender at Home Depot. ( $36.00 ) I did saddle bag frames on all 3 bikes, and these crash bars.
I think it's paid for it self by now.
I'm still trying to see if I can do my NX250 with crash bars.
All depends on available mounting points.

I have to say, the XT250 has been the easiest to make modifications to, out of all my other bikes. Things just seem to be positioned, or laid out to allow me to do what I want to do.
